ALSO DON’T MISS: Goldridge Olive Oil Farm Tour 2022
On Saturday, April 30th For the first time, Goldridge Organic Farms in Sebastopol is opening its doors for Farm Trail’s Spring Tour.
Please join us to Taste, Shop and Enjoy the fruits of the farm! Pre-book your $10 per person tickets (recommended) to enjoy organic award-winning olive oil experience and take in the 360 degree views of West Sonoma County in a Tuscan-inspired courtyard, surrounded by ancient olive and citrus trees.
The pioneering certified organic farm is based in far western Sebastopol, Sonoma county’s coastal wine region. Farmer Brooke Hazen chose his 88-acre property over 20 years ago because of the good water sources and the famed loamy golden soil. The olives, apples and citrus grown organically on the farm benefit from the combination of the soil and the climate which creates ideal growing conditions. The groves of fruit are slow-ripening, due to the fog and sea breezes (just ten miles direct to the Pacific).
The olives are all milled on site, certified organic, have four blends (Tuscan Blend, Picholine Blend, Arbequina Blend, Minerva Blend) from 17 varieties of cultivars (olives) on the estate. Milling is done within hours of harvest for the highest medicinal quality, maximum freshness and best flavors. All four blends are certified Extra Virgin annually by the California Olive Oil Council (COOC).
