Ahoy mates – hoist a drink and walk the plank with your Epicurators Susie and Laiko for the second annual CUESA Yacht Rocks party next Weds. We are Captaining the costume contest again – so come for one of the best parties of the summer – right out front at the Ferry Building.  And yes, we’ll embarrass ourselves at the VJ booth singing “Love Boat.” / Laiko & Susie

Tilt your captain’s hat, straighten your stripes, and sail over to the Ferry Building for Yacht Rock II, the summer edition of Cocktails of the Farmers Market. For this nautically themed night of sips and bites, CUESA and the Northern California chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild (USBG)continue their seasonal cocktails series with a nod to the America’s Cup.

An all-star lineup of bartenders and chefs will highlight summer produce (corn, tomatoes, basil, melons to name just a few!) from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Guests receive two full-sized signature drinks made with Drambuie, 11 sample sized drinks, and bites from noted local galleys.

Come ashore in their favorite nautical look for a chance to win a make-it-at-home cocktail market basket in Epicuring’s costume contest. Whether taking fashion cues from The Captain and Tennille, The Love Boat, Larry Ellison, or Luis Vuitton, Postagram will be on hand to capture the festivities. DJ/KJ Glenny Kravitz will be spinning Yacht Rock tunes and encouraging all fans of Christopher Cross, the Doobie Brothers, Toto, Hall and Oates, and other smooth-sailing rockers to grab the mic and sing along.

Grab your crew and rendezvous! Act quickly—there’s limited space at this waterside party!
